Guess what?
It didn't rain today.
Thats right, no rain today!!
OK, so now you have picked yourself back up off the floor I will tell you that we had blue skies and sun shine too!!! Amazing!
When I saw the sky this morning after breakfast, I made my mind up that I would take the boys to the beach even if it ended up raining, because I was fed up with not being able to do very much with them due to the rubbish weather. We left the house just after 9am and it was drizzling slightly, but I hoped it would clear up, which it did huzzah!
I took the boys to Instow beach which is about a 20 minute drive away from our house. They LOVED it and we ran around for an hour with the sea breeze blowing in our faces. It's the first time we have been since Jenson started walking and he had so much fun walking through the sand, even if he did end up falling over and 'eating' some of it too!!
The fresh (sea) air did us the world of good :)
