Big Top Scooby Doo and Tom and Jerry Tricks & Treats DVD's

So unless you have been living underground away from everyone else, you will have known that today was Hallowe'en. My boys are still a little young to understand what October 31st is actually all about but that didn't stop them from getting excited when a parcel from Warner Bros arrived this afternoon containing some Hallowe'en related goodies.

Straight away Burton removed the DVD's and asked if we could watch them (which was good timing as it was raining). While I set about opening the cellowrap, my two had found the cat masks and tried to wear them - one more successfully than the other!

We sat down and watched some of Scooby Doo - Big Top. Billed on the DVD case as the scariest show on earth, the Big Top is being persecuted by a gang of werewolves and it is up to The Mystery Inc to save the day and uncover who is behind this circus mayhem! The DVD also features three bonus episodes and all of them are the original cartoons which for me personally, being a fan of the old skool Hanna-Barbera Scooby Doo, is better. Bringing it into the new school way of life, this DVD package also includes UltraVioletTM for instant streaming and downloading.

We have also been sent Tom and Jerry Tricks & Treats, which at 22 episodes long is a brilliant collection of cat and mouse hilarity with a spooky twist. Priced at just £5.99 this DVD with a running time of more than 2 hours is excellent value! We have yet to watch this but it will certainly help to fill up some of the winter afternoons that are ahead of us.

We were sent this Hallowe'en inspired goody box by Warner Bros for the purpose of this post. All comments made are my own and honest. I can confirm that the sweets were  yummy - such a nice 'treat' for mummy this evening while she wrote the above! *ahem*
